Data documented well enough to replicate.

Institutional exposure is not cost — it is the reviewer, the records request, and the replication attempt. PolitiMind delivers pre-specified instruments, versioned weighting, recorded computation, and stated limitations with every dataset.

    The pressure

Most survey data is not documented well enough to defend

Sampling frames are proprietary, eligibility is self-declared, exclusions arrive as an unexplained N, and the weighting procedure is described in prose rather than versioned. A reviewer asking how a specific estimate was produced is asking a question the vendor's memo cannot answer.

That gap is not a rigor problem inside your team — it is a records problem upstream of it. It shows up in peer review, in FOIA responses, and in the replication attempt that cannot reconstruct your procedure.

    What changes

Documentation generated from the record, not written afterwards

PolitiMind runs pre-specification, design review, feasibility, verified admission, fielding, integrity review, weighting, and computation in one system that records each step. The data-and-methods section describes what actually happened because it is assembled from the same record a reviewer can check.

What institutions actually run on PolitiMind

    • Peer-reviewed studies

Will a reviewer accept how this data was collected?

Field with a frozen instrument, a recorded method version, and a documented weighting approach, so the data-and-methods section describes a record rather than a vendor summary.

      How assurance is separated
    • Experimental and choice designs

Can I run the design my question actually requires?

Run randomized item blocks, conjoint, MaxDiff, and pre/post designs inside the same recorded specification and computation pipeline as a standard read.

      How designs are reviewed
    • Longitudinal and recontact panels

Can I measure the same population again?

Repeat measurement against the same verified population under a versioned method, with recontact handled through the platform so identity never reaches your institution.

      How waves are delivered
    • Government and policy research

Will this hold up under FOIA or a hearing?

Produce figures whose sampling frame, exclusions, weighting, uncertainty, and limitations are recorded at the time of computation, not reconstructed later under records request.

      What a record proves
    • Federal data context

How does opinion sit against administrative data?

Join a read to public federal series — spending, campaign finance, labor, and census context — with each series named, dated, and traced to its source.

      Explore the federal KPIs
    • Replication and re-analysis

Can someone else recompute this figure?

Hand a reviewer the specification, method version, exclusion summary, and computation run, so recomputation is a procedure rather than a negotiation.

    1. 01

      Start from the research question

The hypothesis and analysis intent are recorded before fielding.

    2. 02
      Beta

      Design and review

The instrument and design are drafted, reviewed, and frozen at a version.

    3. 03

      Check feasibility before spend

Reachability of the target population is shown before a budget or grant line commits.

    4. 04

      Field under integrity review

Verified admission, then continuous integrity review with recorded exclusions.

    5. 05

Compute at a stated method version

Weighting and estimation run under a registered, versioned method.

    6. 06

      Deliver with documentation

Dataset, specification, exclusions, weighting notes, and limitations ship together.

    What is documented

Each layer of documentation, and what it does not establish

Documentation is only useful if it is honest about its own reach. Each layer below states what it establishes and what it explicitly does not, so nothing on this page can be read as a claim that verified collection settles an inferential question.

    Delivered documentation package

    1. L06

      Pre-specification

ProvesThe instrument, population definition, and analysis intent existed before fielding, at a fixed version.

Does not proveThat the specified analysis was the right analysis, or that the hypothesis was well posed.

    2. L05

      Verified admission

ProvesEach response came from a uniquely verified, eligible participant, established at entry.

Does not proveThat the resulting sample is representative of the target population.

    3. L04

      Integrity exclusions

ProvesDuplicate, coordinated, and low-quality participation was flagged and removed, with a recorded summary.

Does not proveThat no manipulation occurred, or that exclusion decisions are free of judgment.

    4. L03

      Versioned weighting and estimation

ProvesThe estimate was produced by a registered method version whose inputs and parameters are recorded.

Does not proveThat the weighting scheme is the correct one for your inferential target.

    5. L02

      Uncertainty and limitations

ProvesIntervals and known limitations were stated at computation time, with the figure.

Does not proveThat stated intervals cover nonresponse bias, coverage gaps, or wording effects.

    6. L01

      Tamper-evident commitment

      Beta

ProvesA later silent change to a released record becomes detectable by an outside party.

Does not proveAccuracy of any figure, and it is not certification. Test network only.

    Verified collection

    Before spend

Underpowered subgroups are visible before a grant line commits

The most expensive discovery in survey research is that the subgroup your analysis depends on could not be filled. Feasibility narrowing is shown before fielding, in structure rather than in figures — every real number is computed per study, against your own specification.

    1. Verified populationEveryone eligible to answer at all
    2. Target populationYour inferential target, as specified
    3. Eligible after screeningScreeners and quotas applied
    4. Reachable in field windowWithin your grant or deadline window
    5. Usable subgroup cellsCells that support a reportable estimate

    Reviewed before any spend commits

    • Which subgroups can carry a reportable estimate
    • Which cuts are underpowered as specified
    • Field window implied by the design
    • Design changes that make the target reachable

Illustrative narrowing structure. Bar widths express narrowing, not measured values; feasibility figures are computed per study.

    Proof walkthrough

When each piece of documentation comes into existence

Step through a study the way a reviewer, a records officer, and then a replication team would. Each phase names what documentation is created, who outside your institution can check it, and what that check does not settle. Where transparency is still a commitment rather than a capability, it says so.

    Who can check it

    What it does not settle
Pre-specification is recorded on the platform. It is not a substitute for registration on a public pre-registration registry, which remains your institution's responsibility.

    Phase 1 of 9: At pre-specification

Live evidence versus planned transparencyPre-specification, feasibility, verified admission, integrity exclusion, recorded computation at a stated method version, and documented delivery are live today. AI-assisted design review, advanced method coverage, and repeat-wave panels are beta. Tamper-evident anchoring is beta on Base Sepolia and not available on mainnet. Independent review is planned and does not exist yet — never cite PolitiMind as audited or accredited in a paper.

    Model comparison

Where this differs from a commissioned vendor dataset

This compares approaches, not vendors. No research organization is named or characterised, and rows that depend on how a specific provider works carry that caveat. If a row matters to your review committee, ask your current data provider the same question.

    Symmetry and authority

What you can state in a paper, and what stays with your institution

Verification, weighting, integrity review, and disclosure are identical for every institution and every subject measured, in every party. Approval authority does not move: IRB review, human-subjects determinations, and data-use agreements remain your institution's, and we supply documentation to support them rather than a substitute for them.

    What you can state

    • Participants were identity-verified before answering, and admission is recorded.
    • The instrument was frozen at a stated version before fielding.
    • Exclusions were applied during field and are summarised with the dataset.
    • Each estimate names the registered method version that produced it.
    • Intervals and known limitations were stated at computation time.
    • The delivered figures can be recomputed from the delivered specification.

    What you must not state

    • That PolitiMind data is probability-sampled from a full national frame.
    • That PolitiMind is independently audited, accredited, or certified.
    • That verification removes sampling error, nonresponse bias, or wording effects.
    • That PolitiMind granted IRB or human-subjects approval — that stays with your institution.
    • That identity-linked microdata or participant contact details can be obtained.
    • That recomputation of our procedure validates the procedure itself.

For a specific submission, ask us for the methodology statement tied to that study's method version rather than reusing language from an earlier dataset.

    Known limits

What this page does not promise

PolitiMind is not a probability-sampled national frame, and it does not forecast elections. Advanced method coverage and repeat-wave panels are beta, so confirm your specific design before it becomes a grant deliverable. Verified admission and recorded computation remove whole classes of integrity failure and leave sampling error, coverage gaps, nonresponse bias, and question-wording effects exactly where they were. Identity-linked microdata and participant contact details never leave the platform, so identity-based linkage designs are not supported, and no independent accreditation of our methods exists today.

    What this page claims

    • Methodology is stated in plain language — sampling frame, weighting approach, margin of error, and known limitations travel with every result.
    • Beta
The platform supports advanced research designs including trackers, recontact studies, experiments, MaxDiff, conjoint, and pre/post measurement.
    • Published results carry provenance: the specification, method version, and computation run behind a number are recorded and inspectable.
    • Participation requires identity verification, so responses come from confirmed real people rather than anonymous traffic.
    • Participant identity and response data are held separately, so buyers receive population-level intelligence and never participant identities.
    • Sentiment is placed next to federal public records — campaign finance, spending, and economic indicators — so opinion is read in context.

PolitiMind claims pre-specified instruments, verified admission, integrity controls, versioned weighting, recorded computation, and delivered documentation. It does not claim probability sampling from a national frame, electoral forecasting, IRB authority, independent accreditation, or feasibility for every subgroup today. Advanced methods, repeat-wave panels, and tamper-evident anchoring are beta; independent review is planned.

Field one study you would have to defend anyway

The useful test is not a capability deck. Take a question already in your research plan, field it here, and judge the delivery on one thing: could a reviewer recompute the reported estimate from the documentation alone, without asking you for anything.
